I know what this feels like. This has been going on for years in the public school systems. I'm 44 years old and I was bullied in school from the 3rd grade. Growing up in New York, it was really tough and my parents just had no idea what I had to go through everyday. This is just one of the major things that is wrong with public school systems across the country. Some kids get bullied physically (like myself), some mentally. Somebody was always planning to "jump" me after school. I mean I had to keep my hair braided with vaseline and sneakers in hand, girl. It was crazy. I was unable to enjoy my time in school because of all the evil azz little mofos trying to start something with me on the regular. I feel for this kid, you really have to try and "hold your own" at school and thats a damn shame, because school is suppose to be about getting an academic education, not about trying to keep folks from mentally or physically harrassing you. As long as the public school system structure remains the way it is now, this stuff ain't gonna stop. This is so true. I know what this feels like.
