Anyone who knows me knows that music is my sanctuary. It fully completes who I am and the way I think. Here’s what I’m currently listening to from my cd collection:

I’m a complete sucker for Jazz. Ms. Ella brings it with pure passion. Track 8 "Let’s Begin" is proof of her capacity and range.

Lady Holiday has depth and feeling. My favorite from this album is "Let’s Call The Whole Thing Off". But NOTHING can compare to "Strange Fruit"

Van Morrison can get you in trouble quick! If you’re lookin for baby makin music……he’s you’re man! "Brown-Eyed-Girl" is an all time favorite of mine. Makes you wanna dance. "Beside You" is completly soulful and relaxing.

Do I believe in reincarnation? YES, and here’s the proof…Ms. Ella Fitzgerald trapped in the body of the beautiful Chrisette Michele. I can’t choose a favorite from this album. Every track is pure genius, and don’t get me started on this girl’s voice…..WOW!

Maroon 5’s "IT WON’T BE SOON BEFORE LONG" is a great album. Adam Levine’s voice is undeniable. If you want to dance your ass off, I suggest you give this album a looky looky. My favorite is track 3 "LITTLE OF YOUR TIME".

If you don’t know who James Taylor is then you’ve been living under a rock for the better part of your lives. James Taylor has to be one of the most important contributors to music. He has one of the most beautiful voices to date. My favorite JT songs are "Something In The Way She Moves", "Carolina In My Mind", "Fire And Rain", and of course…."How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You).

I Am A Bird Now by Antony And The Johnsons is so beautiful. This guy has the voice of an angel. If you want a good cry try track 1 "Hope There’s Someone", track 2 "My Lady Story", track 5 "You Are My Sister", and if you want to hear alittle blues try track 7 "Fistfull Of Love", the rest of the album is beautiful.
Broaden Your Musical Tastes People
We have a lot of the same musical interests. I just purchased and IPOD…I’m kind of regretting it because I pride myself on being a technophobe…well not that bad, but I want to get rid of using my cell phone within the next few years, and an IPOD just SCREAMS, I’M REALLY TECHINCAL!!!!!

I love Billie and Ella. My mom used to put their records on as lullabyes when I was a baby.
